Architectural Project Manager
Location Austin, Texas -- All applicants must reside in Austin or the surrounding areas to be considered.
Position Type This is a contract position.
Education Candidate must have a Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Architectural Studies, or CIDA Accredited Interior Design degree.
Experience Candidate must possess 5 years minimum experience working within an architecture firm with an emphasis on client service, team management, and project management.
Certifications Registered Architect/Registered Interior Designer, State of Texas, and LEED AP preferred. However, candidates not yet licensed, but working towards licensure will be considered bases on prior experience and portfolio presentation.
Technical Revit, CAD, Microsoft Office Suite are required. Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Project, Google Sketchup or other 3D rendering software are preferred.
Position This position is a full-time, open-ended contract position working onsite within the Kinney & Associates office in Downtown East Austin. Projects range from residential homes and additions, to large-scale public spaces projects for the City of Austin. Must show proficiency in organization, time management and client service. Must be a team-player and able to adapt to various team structures, working independently and as part of a larger team. Job will include project management tasks including prime client liaison, project budgets and schedules, consultant coordination and team coordination. Job may include participation in marketing new work, proposal writing and contract coordination.
