Drake Pedestrian Bridge

Time for Throwback Thursday! #TBT Here's a blast from the past and a few snapshots from the Drake Pedestrian Bridge we designed in circa 1991. Another trivia nugget about the Drake Bridge is that Girard Kinney, the primary architect on the project and owner of Kinney & Associates, created the design pro-bono, which saved the City over $1M! In turn, they named Oct 1, 1993 Girard Kinney Day and required all future bridge projects to have an architect on the team.
