The 2017 Weird Homes Tour will be kicking off on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 in Austin, Texas! According to the official site you can "visit the homes of artists, collectors of oddities, rare art collectors and more, and get a glimpse inside the walls of the truly unique spaces in Austin and Houston."
From the outrageously weird to the wonderfully whimsical you are welcomed inside the homes of artists and eccentrics who have truly transformed their living spaces into living breathing works of functional art. In an age when home design and interior decoration often tends to seem more and more uniform as the human tendency is to follow "trends" dictated by the media and popular opinion, it is often an exhilarating breath of fresh air to take a trip to the opposite end of the creative spectrum.
You never know where your inspiration will come from.
